Best Jamaican Food in Chicago

Jerky Jerk is an amazing new Jamaican restaurant!! This was my first time trying it and the food was perfect. Hot and fresh! We ordered the red snapper dinner and the shrimp Alfredo. The red snapper was cooked very nice!! With a nice escoviche. The plantains were nice and the rice and beans reminded me of home!! The shrimp Alfredo was also really good! My child is a picky eater and almost ate the whole thing! The sauce was creamy and flavorful and they give you plenty of shrimp! Everything tasted fresh. The restaurant is clean and the food looks beautiful when it comes out. The stafg was very friendly and attentive! My family and I will definitely be going back and I highly recommend trying them!! Ordered take out tonight and we can’t be more excited this place has opened up across the street. The two meats and two sides was totally worth the price and we definitely have enough for lunch tomorrow. We tried the curry chicken, the fried dark meat, and both white and dark jerk meats and they were all phenomenal. The rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains all made excellent sides as well. It’s safe to say we’ll be back. ✌🏼

I suppose to been give a review on this, but this place is a great spot! Good food, service is nice, and workers are cool. Best Caribbean restaurant up north in Roger’s park, i highly recommend the half bird with rice, peas, beans, and cabbage.

Best food without a doubt, I had fried chicken 3 day in a row curry goat two day with jerk chicken and omg it’s the best😋
